Fab'n'Funky DT card #317 ~ Fall Colours...


Hello all...

Well the children have gone back to school this morning after 7 weeks off, can't believe how quickly time flew pass! Oh well, guess I can try and get back into my card making, seem to be rushing my DT makes last minute and using pre-coloured images quite a bit lately ...not helping that my heart's still not really into it after losing my Dad a year ago this coming Friday :(

We are back after a lovely summer break at Fab'n'Funky and our lovely Pat K   has chosen a great challenge theme for us.....

    Oh such a pretty cared Wendy and the backing papers are gorgeous. I hope you will regain your love of craft soon and I fully understand your heartache as I lost my dad 27yrs ago and still feel as if my heart has been ripped out.     So pretty Wendy perfect for this weeks challenge inspiration. I can't believe a year has passed since you lost your Dad, time just wiles itself away - it's 11 years in November since I lost my Dad - of course I still miss him so badly - I'm an only one and there'sonly me and my Mam now. every now and again the tears come for no reason, but mostly I remember the happy times and we talk about him and smile and laugh about what he would (or did!) do. Will be thinking of you tomorrow, though just try to remember that an anniversary really has no significance it really is just another day hugs Judith xx

    Aww hun, I feel for you right now so deeply. It's just been my daddy's birthday, which always has me feeling a little heartbroken. Father's day follows closely after here in NZ. It's 16 years since my daddy passed and I miss him every day. But these 'special' days, especially so. So I hope you made it through that day with some love and support. Judith's right, it's just another day, but it's nice to stop and remember our precious daddy's and all they were to us on those special days. Big hugs to you for that xoxo
