Many thanks and some good news...

Hiya...Just wanted to pop on and thank you for all for your love and support you have given me over the pass few weeks with the very sad loss of my beloved Dad, all your loving messages, cards and emails have been a great comfort!

Dad's funeral was a very tough, difficult and sad day but did go really well for a funeral, the service was lovely and so many people turned up. At the wake the hotel lady said that she had never seen so many people in that room before!

All my DT's have been wonderful and so supportive giving me as much time off as I need, which really has been much appreciated and to be honest have on a few occasions nearly felt like packing it all in as nothing really seems that important anymore :( but then decided that crafting/blogging is what I like to do and may help to make me feel a little happier again! ....Hopefully!

So on to my good news! I am delighted to announce that I am now on The Cutie Pie Challenge DT :) thanks again Lisa and girls for asking me!

I will be posting my first Cutie Pie DT card on Mon 12th, my first card I have made in the last 6 weeks, felt really odd getting out my pens and bits, almost nearly forgotten what to do...lol

Hopefully all my other DT cards will follow if I can manage to put them together in between the tears...feeling so sad and empty, like a part of me is missing :(

Looking forward to catching up with you all....bye for now.

Hugs

  21. Hi Wendy,
I'm glad the funeral went well... lovely to hear that you had lots of family and friends there with you for support.
I'm glad that you are getting back into crafting... I think it helps, even if you don't feel like you're enjoying it yet... hope you know what I mean. It felt like I was just going through the motions with everything for a long time after losing my dad. But think the crafting really helped me as it lifted my mood.
Well Done on your new DT Post!! The Cutie Pie Challenge sounds fun.
    Sending you huge hugs hun.
