Wee Stamps Winter Fairy

Hiya...Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a lovely afternoon Saturday in town for the Turing on off the Christmas lights, most of the local schools sang Christmas songs/carols which was really lovely, feeling a little more in the Christmas mood now. Our daughter is part of the school choir and really enjoyed being up on stage with a big audience, not sure where she gets her confidence from not me or her dad lol...

Anyway can't believe how far behind I am with my Christmas cards, just can't seem to get in the mood for them, I seem to say the same thing every year but this year I have failed miserably :(

This little cutie is one of the adorable Hobby House Wee Stamps Toppers called Winter Fairy.

Hi Wendy - this is absolutely gorgeous - as always!
In answer to your question...I've been making a lot of cards over the weekend with the die over the edge on the fold - so the card is actually double thickness when I'm die cutting it and have had no problem whatsoever. I'm waiting on Papermill getting back to me with confirmation of the weight of card I'm using but it's sturdy enough. No problem with their 255 gsm linen card doubled up. How it cuts actually could depend on the die too as, if the die is not deep enough, there is nowhere for the card to go, if you know what I mean.I'm not sure what Xcut recommend but I've been on overdrive doing samples for Create and Craft etc and have made loads of cards over the past few weeks with no problem whatsoever. Hope that helps. Ruth x
