Something a bit different

Hi all...Hopefully have now caught up with you all, really sorry if I have missed any one.

Todays card is a card I sent to Ruth of A passion for cards, who's Birthday was last week, knowing she's likes floral cards I dug out a Penny Black stamp called unfold and tried something a bit different for me,I paper pierced the flowers and added some Antia's 3D clear Gloss to bring it to life a bit (not showing up very well in photo) so strange to make a card with out promarkers now lol...

Items used

Penny  Black stamp ~ unfold
Papermania papers~ Blueberry Hill
Nesties
Craftwork cards message
Royal Lace Doily
Anita's 3- D clear Gloss
Papermania pearls

Hope you have a fab weekend.

Thanks for looking and any comments you may wish to leave are much appreciated xx

Wendy, this was such a professional looking card. It looks lovely in your blog but the photo doesn't do it justice at all. It is still sitting in pride of place on my mantlepiece and everyone who has called remarks on it! I was so touched to receive it and couldn't thank you enough. The glossy accents was a lovely finishing touch.
So glad you had a lovely holiday,
Many thanks again,
Ruth x

Hi Wendy, such a gorgeous card! What wonderful paper piecing - it feels really odd when you do something new, or an old technique that you have used for ages, doesn't it! Thanks so much for the kind comment on my blog and I hope that your children's first days back at school go well. Sarah

Hi Wendy!! :)
What a lovely card- the colours are so delicate and pretty!! Paper piecing is a nice change from colouring all the time and looks so effective- I'm promising myself I'll do it more often but the pens come out before I even think so we'll see!!lol!! :)
Thanks for the comments you've left on my blog while I've not been up to getting around online much- was lovely to hear you'd started a blog and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your gorgeous cards now I'm following!! :)
